DINING

After a hearty breakfast in the morning our hope is dinner the only other meal you need to plan in your day. Below are a dozen of our favorite places in and around Niagara Falls, and encourage reservations in advance.

Please note most our recommended restaurants are family owned and closed either Sundays or Mondays.
Skylon Tower
Skylon Tower
Cuisine – American The Skylon Tower Revolving Dining Room is located 775' atop of the Falls offering one of the most specular views. The menu and service are both top notch. We prefer to walk the 2 miles from the house with the views magnificent, and Falls illuminated on the return journey home!
Savor
Savor
Cuisine – American Located a mile from the house is the hidden gem Savor, an upscale restaurant in the city managed by the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute’s (NFCI). Savor features an open kitchen where student chefs are on “display” to showcase their talents. A must if availability so book early!
Steak Stone & Sushi
Steak Stone & Sushi
Cuisine – Japanese This was another find from our guests and found ourselves going soon after. By far the best sushi in Niagara Falls. Adding an 800-degree seasoned stone at your table to cook meat or vegetables is a treat you have to try! Steak Stone & Sushi is located 5 miles from the house.
Casa Antica
Casa Antica
Cuisine – Italian Casa Antica is our favorite date night location located in Lewiston ~10 miles from the house. Great ambiance, friendly staff, and best Italian food in the area. Jamie’s favorite is the scallop risotto, and mine something off the daily specials. If busy, try to grab a seat at the outdoor bar.
Brickyard Pub & BBQ
Brickyard Pub & BBQ
Cuisine – BBQ Also located in Lewiston ~10 miles from the house is Brickyard Pub & BBQ. Best BBQ in the area, and have a special edition of wings where they smoke them for a day, then deep fry before adding their house rub. We love the rub, and sold in bottles if you want to take some home!
The SILO
The SILO
Cuisine – American All the restaurants in Lewiston are excellent, but eating at the SILO along the waterfront not only beautiful and relaxing, but very good food. Adam Richman and the crew from the Travel Channel's Man V. Food visited the SILO to sample the World-Famous Haystack!
Sunset Bar & Grill
Sunset Bar & Grill
Cuisine – Seafood If visiting local wineries, we suggest a stop at the Sunset Bar & Grill located along Lake Ontario ~20 miles from the house. There is plenty of seating with marina views, and most nights a live band. The menu is diverse and includes local favorites, but best know for their steamer pots!
Mulberry Italian Ristorante
Mulberry Italian Ristorante
Cuisine – Italian If going to Buffalo or Letchworth State Park, we suggest eating at Mulberry Italian Ristorante located south side of Buffalo ~25 miles from the house. My first exposure was on the TV show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Oh my, hands down the BEST lasagna you will ever try!
La Galera
La Galera
Cuisine – Mexican Living in California 30 years, I miss Mexican food all too often. This is by far the best local option and highly recommended. Colorful & clean, portions VERY generous, and the menu a good mix of options! La Galera Mexican Restaurant is ~5 mile drive from the house.
Griffon Gastropub
Griffon Gastropub
Cuisine – American The Griffon is ranked #1 in Niagara Falls by TripAdvisor, and a unique experience with 50 craft beers on tap and one of the more creative, grommet menus. The restaurant has two locations with different menu and vibe, so check them out. Both are ~10 miles from the house.
Pho Golden
Pho Golden
Cuisine - Vietnamese / Asian For Vietnamese, as well as a good Asian menu, look no further than Pho Golden. The menu is diverse, house specials unique, and price very reasonable for quality homemade dishes. Pho Golden is located 2 miles from the house with parking located in back.
Koi
Koi
Cuisine – Chinese Located in the Seneca Casino ~1 mile from the house is Koi. Their dishes are mainly Chinese, and use fresh, quality ingredients where you can taste the difference. Jamie says the Beef Chow Fun is the best she's had in the US, and the Peking duck is as good as when in Beijing.
