Bird Kingdom is home to the world's largest free-flying indoor aviary. There are many multi-layer rainforests through which visitors can discover hundreds of different tropical birds. The Night Jungle and the Lorikeet Landing are among some of the other attractions within the area. The park is just a five minute walk from Niagara Falls and is open year round.
Your experience at the Bird Kingdom starts at the Old Museum. Here birds fly around you in the scenery that has you traveling back in time. Continue the adventure at the kingdom's Animal Encounters are where you can meet parrots and other exotic animals. The night Jungle is next. Home to curious owls, bats, and other nocturnal animals. The Discover Kingdom is last. This where the world's largest indoor aviary is located. Full of hundreds of different exotic free flying birds, guests are welcome to wander the pathways through the multi-level rainforest and observe the beautiful birds.
Lorikeet landing is also included at Bird Kingdom. Here guests can interact with lorikeet birds. These birds are playful and beautiful. Guests can feed the birds, and visit the Javanese House from the 1800s. This masterpiece is hand carved solid teak, and it's one of a kind structure that is the only in North America.
The Bird Kingdom is open all year. Guests can choose to get a tour of the kingdom that is only an hour long. The entire area is wheelchair accessible. Service animals are not allowed in the Kingdom, however guests can leave them at a supervised office. Admission is $18.95 for adults 16 and older. Child admission is $14.95. Buying tickets online is less expensive than at the door. Group programs, and educational programs are available to children and adults alike. A gift shop, and dining area are also open to guests.
